We bought s this kit as a birthday present and are finally getting around to doing it.

They both enjoyed doing this and it was great fun.

The old hood

There are times when I miss the old neighborhood. I took this when I got to work a little before daylight.

g's school project

I came home to this tonight. Before I left for work, I told g to think of a few ideas that she wants to do for her project. Her project was on how animals help humans and vice versa. She came up with the list on her own. Pretty cool sentences, g.  Now, we should work on spelling.

s commentary - in the bathroom

Noticing that s had been sitting for a bit, G asked if she was ok.

s replied, "this is one tough little guy."

It struck me that it has been almost 2 years since this photo and very little has changed about little s. She is still wearing that same shirt, has about the same hairdo (of course, with tinsel but that's another blog post) and the same smile. I can't believe that she is about to turn 5.
